Seasonal Retail Associate

$18/hour

We’re looking for an experienced, friendly, and confident Seasonal Retail Associate to join our team during the most fun time of the year. This is a short-term position, just 5 weeks, so it’s ideal if you love independent retail and enjoy working with customers, but want a short-term commitment.

You’ll work closely with our Management Team and Lead Sales Associates, helping with the day-to-day running of the store while serving as a strong, experienced presence on the floor.

THE ROLE

This position is seasonal and must be able to commit to the following days with the option of additional days.

• Saturday, November 21 from 12:30pm-6:30pm
• Saturday, November 28 from 12:30pm-6:30pm
• Saturday, December 5th from 10am-6:30pm
• Saturday, December 12th from 10am-6:30pm
• Saturday, December 19th from 10am-6:30pm

As our Retail Associate, you’ll be very customer-facing while also helping keep the store organized, stocked, looking great and running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating a warm, friendly and knowledgeable experience for every customer

• Confidently selling across kids, women’s, home and gifts
  

• Supporting team members during shifts

• Keeping the store stocked and organized

• Restocking and monitoring inventory on the sales floor

• Making sure daily store tasks and checklists are completed

• Communicating store, customer or staffing issues to the Store Manager or ASM

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’d love to meet someone who:

• Has 1+ years of previous retail experience, ideally in an independent or specialty retail environment

• Is confident with customers and genuinely enjoys selling

• Is reliable, organized and proactive

• Naturally notices what needs to be done and gets on with it

• Has a great eye for merchandising and presentation
  

• Works well as part of a small team

• Is calm and capable when the store gets busy

• Is interested in the brands and products we carry

• Can commit to weekend availability

PAY & BENEFITS
